Autumn Carousel

Another of my mandalas was inspired by the autumn colors of my former home in Maryland, where the maple and oak leaves create an explosion of colors each fall and the constant motion of leaves as they drift in the wind.

Materials: Cotton batik, wool/rayon batting, silk thread
Techniques: Turned edge applique, fused applique, machine quilting
