Fish Series

Living in Florida, fish and ocean images are everywhere, and exotic fish make for a wonderful excursion into the imagination. Here are the collage fish of my imagination. If you say “that’s not what any real fish look like”, I’ll just tell you, “Well, maybe not on this planet”…

Materials: Cotton batik, fusible web, wool/rayon batting, cotton batik backing.
Techniques: Fused raw edge applique, machine quilting
